Saturday, February 16, was the day Pack 53 celebrated Cub Scouting with a Blue and Gold banquet and we all celebrated the earning of Wood Badge beads by two leaders, Don Kinser (Fox Patrol) of Pack 53 and Rod Powell (Bear Patrol) of Troop 54. In a ceremony led by both Troop Guide Harold Pyle and Scoutmaster John Spain, these two participants in Wood Badge S8-16-11-1 were awarded their beads, woggle and neckerchief.
