Personal Equipment List (FIRST Session at Camp Orr)
Required
■ Official Scout uniform for your current Scouting position (Note: A complete uniform includes the official shirt; shorts, long pants, skirts, or culottes; socks; and belt. A neckerchief and slide will be provided.)
■ Shoes or boots (Please NO OPEN-TOED shoes!!...you may want shower shoes but wear them only in the shower!)
■ Windbreaker or jacket
■ Rain gear (poncho or rain suit)
■ Underwear (more than one pair!)
■ Handkerchiefs
■ Sunscreen
■ Insect repellent
■ Cot, Air mattress or pad (You will be sleeping the first weekend in large Boy Scout canvas wall tents on wooden platforms…two people per tent. )
■ Lawn Chair
■ Cushion or pillow to sit on or stadium type seat, Crazy Creek type seat, etc.
■ Sleeping bag
■ Flashlight with spare batteries and bulb
■ Pocketknife or multiple tool–type knife (no fixed-blade knives)
■ Medication in labeled containers
■ Toiletries
■ Towels and washcloths
■ Pens, pencils, pocket notebook
■ Canteen or water bottle…..and coffee cup
■ Handbook for your Scouting program

■ Small pillow
■ Change of shoes
■ Moccasins or camp slippers
■ Shower footwear
■ Sunglasses
■ Religious book(s)
■ Books of camp songs, skits, etc.
■ Camera and film (FILM???...This is a very old list!...Note to BSA: Change to memory cards!)
